Less Pet-Speak. More Pet Care
Pets can’t read labels. They eat what we put in their bowls. That puts a surprising amount of pressure on the pet parent. Every ingredient needs checking. Every label needs decoding. Every choice needs second-guessing.
The brand saw an opportunity to take that work on. Research the ingredients. Read the labels. Ask the questions. Curate the shelf. Do the homework, so pet parents can trust what they put in the bowl.
That became the brand’s role in their lives: make more time for pets.
Then came the category problem. Pet care brands have a tone-of-voice problem. They either talk to pets or talk like them: “good boi”, “fur baby”, “paws-itively”, “meow you are talking”. Or they swing to the other extreme, filling the conversation with clinical nutrition language and complicated claims.
We chose neither.
Informed, affectionate and playful. Never childish, preachy or gimmicky. The brand would talk to the pet parent making the decisions, simplify what matters, and build trust through what it knows. No guilt. No fear. No pretending to speak to/as the pet.
The thought was simple: You obsess over your pet. We’ll obsess over what goes into their bowl.
And that thought went beyond the copy. Instead of another world of adorable pets posing with packs, we made the act of caring the hero: choosing the right food, preparing the meal, and being there for it. We put the pet parent back in the picture enjoying the pet they’re doing it all for.
